Auchroisk DistilleryThis is one of the new comers, built in 1974 by Justerini and Brookes, it has won half a dozen awards, including one for best new comer and one from the Angling Foundation for not interfering with salmon's progress upriver.

It is owned by International Distillers and Vintners group, parent company to Justerini and Brokes, who introduced it's malt in 1987.
The malt is known as The Singleton and is released as a 10 year old, its medium bodied with some peat but a sherry finish.
