Dallas Dhu

		A very sad story again, one of the more recent casualties, for the Dallas Dhu Distillery is now closed. It resides about 2 miles south of Fores on the Northern part of Speyside. The distillery is not totally lost as it has been turned into a tourist attraction in the form of a distillery museum covering the history of Dallas Dhu, and of course selling the remains of it's produce. This venture does not look too fruitful either as it was rather quiet when we visited.
Needless to say the single malt is your typical Speyside offering in most of it's formats, however the Centenary, which was released after the distillery had actually closed, is very pale for Dallas Dhu. No idea how it tastes, but the Connoisseurs Choice from down the road is rather nice.
