Macduff

Macduff DistiilleryThis distillery was built in 1962 by a group of business men: Brodie Hepburn, Marty Dykes, George Crawford.

The thoroughly modern distillery went into production the following year. It was bought by William Lawson Distillers in 1972 who used the malt in their blends.

In 1980 William Lawson became part of the General Beverage Corp.
Its a nice pleasant smooth malt with a mellow taste and a fresh nose. It is widely available as Glen Devron as a 12 year old and as Macduff from Independent bottlers.
