Miltonduff

The original distillery was built on the site alongside a priory, which although no longer connected with the distillery, still appears on some of the labels.

The distillery was built in 1824 just down the road from Elgin and ran for over a hundred years before being refurbished in the 1930's. The priory too has also been rebuilt.

Miltonduff millenium specialThe distillery produces a cumber of malts, the most common being named after the distillery although some independent bottlers also offer a number of decent vintages. They also produced a single called Mosstowie after a village a mile from the distillery, which is no longer in production as the Lomond still has been decommissioned.
