The
distillery was built in 1897 by John Hopkins to produce malt for
blending, but it now produces a typical medium bodied Speyside malt. The distillery as stayed true to many traditions but has also been inovative in other areas, it was the first to introduce steam driven mechanical maltings, but only got rid of it's horse and cart in 1950. |

It comes as an unspectacular 10 year old, but is a nice drink. It is currently owned by Inver House. |
